Youths are the future of nation. Keeping this in mind, the goal of the organization has been set accordingly, which is to provide career counseling and develop skilled and trained youths of Nepal. The organization provides a platform to empower the youths who are deprived of opportunities and right mentorship and aims to shape up their career by enhancing hidden potential and training them in various fields namely Business, Computer, Accounting, Sales, Graphic Design, etc.
Maya Foundation was established with the mindset of “Giving back to the society” and since then it has been contributing to the local communities in Nepal through social services in the form of donation or education/trainings or infrastructure. The vision of Maya Foundation is to train and develop youth for the development of the country in all possible sectors. The hard work put by the entire team at Maya Foundation is commendable. They work tirelessly to instill real life skills-entrepreneurship and social into the young people and prepare them for employment. heritage and conduct necessary reestablishment projects in an organized manner by serving as a bridge between potential donors and affected communities. With Ramesh Maharjan’s initiative, 82 houses that were destroyed in massive earthquake at Pilachhen tole, Patan are undergoing re-built program and till date, 14 homes have been successfully reconstructed.
Water distribution centre was executed at Pilachhen to distribute treated and purified water to earthquake victims. Adding to the list of after-quake projects, PTSD training was conducted to handle post trauma caused by the massive earthquake.
Participating in sports helps to improve social interaction, health and listening skills as well as increases confidence. It is an important factor in social cohesion within the community which is why Maya Foundation Sports encourages youths to participate in some sort of sport activities. Every Saturday, the non-profit organization organizes games such as basketball, badminton and table-tennis at Kumaripati for young people.
